Is Travel Too Expensive? Why You Don't Need To Go Far To Create Gorgeous Landscape Photography

Why exploring your own backyard can help you create stunning work and help you grow as a landscape photographer.

As nature and landscape photographers, we're often inundated with the lavish travel adventures of others in our field. We're shown faraway bucket-list locations with breathtaking photographic opportunities, and we can feel as though that's something we must emulate to be successful or taken seriously as landscape photographers. The reality is that for most people, a trip to Patagonia or the Dolomites is something that's unaffordable or not possible due to any number of circumstances.

That's why I firmly believe you can create stunning photography without spending top dollar on travel. By simply exploring your local area or region, or planning trips that don't require flights to another continent, you can capture photos you're proud of and discover beauty close to home you might not have known about.
