Event

One of my favorite parts of photography is the social aspect that comes with documenting events. In viewing people through a lens, there’s an intimate observation done from a distance that is impersonal while using a tool that is an inevitable conversation starter. It is in this environment that I act as both chameleon and public relations expert. The genuine camaraderie that is experienced at events adds an element of vulnerability that can destroy all apprehension and make for capturing some truly special moments. It is in these moments, chronicling these events, that I feel I display the best qualities of man - connecting with strangers over shared joy.
