Captured and created during a trip to Roan Mountain State Park in 2020, this photograph highlights a fall season interrupted by the remnants of a tropical storm that left many trees bare. I spent four days in a cabin in Roan Mountain's park during the middle of October to document the peak fall season in the area. Even though storms had battered the landscape days prior, I  came away with images I still enjoy, this photo being one of them.

  • Paper

Printed on Red River's UltraPro Luster 300 paper, this brilliant, bold white paper features a deep luster texture. These key elements are excellent at reproducing deep blacks and higher contrast. They also give images a wider color gamut and smoother tonal transitions. The luster finish texture will help reduce glare when framed and hung, and because the paper is a thicker stock, it will also help prevent wear.
