Selected by Asheville Artist Coalition member and studio resident Crain Cutler, this documentary follows filmmaker Greta Schiller as she interviews notable female artists, writers, photographers, designers, and adventurers, many of whom are lesbian, who made an impact on the city of Paris during the 1920s and '30s. They embraced France, some developed an ex-pat culture, and most cherished a way of life quite different than the one left behind. This documentary collects archival footage, music, paintings, literature, and interviews with those who were there.
